A consultation takes about 1-1.5 hours. During the consultation questions will be asked about your current health and previous health problems, your family health, lifestyle, diet. The practitioner will check your blood pressure, and your pulse and tongue for traditional Chinese diagnosis. Any prescribed medication you are taking at the moment will be taken in consideration to ensure will be no interactions with herbal medicine and supplements.
Treatment plans address specific health needs and concerns and are usually comprised of dietary and lifestyle advice, supplements, herbal medicine formula and if required, a herbal cream or tea. Bach flowers could be added to the formula, if there is a need for them.
